“Totally natural with no pain relief at all. It was the most amazing experience of my life!! I went from being so insanely terrified of giving birth and not wanting the\u00a0day to ever come (right back\u00a0the beginning) but after doing the Hypnobirthing\u00a0course, I felt like I was totally prepared and couldn’t wait to meet the little one!”<\/h5>\n

ARCHER’S BIRTH STORY<\/h4>\n

\"archer-david\"Archer David was born at 9.11pm ” totally natural with no pain relief at all.\u00a0 I woke up on Friday morning have very mild contractions, thought that it might have been a false start, so I went and did some shopping at Bunnings (Josh and I had just bought a house and so we’d spent the last 4 weeks or so painting, renovating, etc so that we could move in).\u00a0 By about 4.30pm, my contractions still weren’t painful, but they were regular (4 minutes apart, lasting for about a minute) so I said to Josh that I might have to call the hospital.\u00a0 So, I called them and they said to me to come up the hospital, but they might send me home, which was all good, because we were moving the NEXT day ” Typical!<\/p>\n

So, we arrived at the hospital at around 6pm and it was then that my contractions ramped up a bit.\u00a0 The breathing was amazing!\u00a0 It really helped SO much…\u00a0 I found that I couldn’t sit or lie down, so I\u00a0spent the next\u00a02 hours or so, on my feet and just rocking and breathing.\u00a0 At around 8.30pm, I went into the shower and continued with my breathing.\u00a0 The contractions\u00a0in the shower were brutal but I continued to\u00a0breathe and\u00a0it was in the shower that my water broke.\u00a0 The Midwife was a bit alarmed when\u00a0she\u00a0saw the colour of it though, as it looked like it contained Meconium.\u00a0 So, out the bed I went..\u00a0\u00a0They put the back of the bed up and I lent over the back of it facing the\u00a0wall at the head of the bed, up on my knees…\u00a0 after a few minutes, Archer was born!\u00a0 It was the most amazing experience of my life!!<\/p>\n

I went from being so insanely terrified of giving birth and not wanting the\u00a0day to ever come (right back\u00a0the beginning) but since\u00a0doing the Hypnobirthing\u00a0course, I felt like I was totally prepared and couldn’t wait to meet the little one!<\/p>\n
