style=\"text-align: left;\">The goal of our Indigenous Childbirth Education Program is to provide <em>culturally relevant<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>quality<\/em> childbirth education to Indigenous mothers and families throughout Australia.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\">Hypnobirthing Australia\u2122 &#8216;Positive Birth Indigenous Program&#8217; classes are mostly held within the context of Health Services and Midwifery Group Practice.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\">The Hypnobirthing Australia\u2122 Positive Birth Indigenous Program was first written and offered to Aboriginal health services within Australia in 2015. Since then<span style=\"margin: 0px; padding: 0px; text-align: left;\">, it has been implemented into the childbirth education offered by:<\/span><\/p><ul style=\"text-align: left;\"><li style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"margin: 0px; padding: 0px; text-align: left;\">South West Aboriginal Medical Service <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swams.com.au\/service\/child-maternal-health\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">(SWAMS) &#8211; Child &amp; Maternal Health<\/a><\/span><\/li><li style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"margin: 0px; padding: 0px; text-align: left;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/bega.org.au\/clinical-services\/about-begas-clinical-services\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bega Garnbirringu Health Service<\/a><\/span><\/li><li style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"margin: 0px; padding: 0px; text-align: left;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.goldcoast.health.qld.gov.au\/aboriginal-and-torres-strait-islander-service\/services\/mums-and-bubs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Waijungbah Jarjums<\/a> | Gold Coast Health &#8211; Queensland Health<\/span><\/li><li>Top End Health Service in the Northern Territory<\/li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">WA Country Health Service &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/hypnobirthingaustralia.com.au\/wachs-classes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WACHS &#8211; Bunbury Hospital<\/a> in Western Australia have implemented this program into government health settings through midwifery group practice<\/li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">The Hypnobirthing Australia\u2122 Positive Birth Indigenous Program is also offered privately by midwives in locations throughout Australia<br \/><br \/><\/li><\/ul><p style=\"text-align: left;\">The Indigenous Program is culturally relevant and taught within a time frame that suits various Aboriginal health services.
