“I asked Gaynor to help me cut down on my drinking as I felt that it had got out of hand. I was drinking up to a bottle of wine every evening at home. I didn’t want to stop completely as the social aspect was important to me, but I needed to cut down dramatically. "Gaynor treated me for misophonia, a little known neurological condition where the sufferer has a hatred of certain noises, leading to anger and anxiety. Commonly, eating noises trigger the condition. I had three session with Gaynor focusing on this issue. Afterwards I was able to enjoy a visit to the cinema for the first time in years, where the popcorn munchers and sweetie bag rustlers did not bother me at all. In the longer term I am much more able to cope with triggers, meaning I am more able to enjoy my life, doing normal things which before I would have found too stressful"

quitting smoking"I was a regular smoker of around 20 cigarettes a day. I had tried to stop before with patches and gum but I had failed. I had one stop smoking session with Gaynor and have not smoked since. I was astounded at how successful the therapy was. I had a few urges over the next few days but Gaynor had taught me how to deal with them. I am so happy I had this therapy and I would recommend to any smoker who is ready to quit.
